We integrated a private blockchain network to handle Sweatcoin transactions. This provided an immutable ledger to track each user’s steps and currency generation, ensuring that the conversion of steps to Sweatcoins was accurate, secure, and verifiable. The blockchain also enabled Sweatcoin to ensure transparency and prevent tampering with transaction data.
Sweatcoin’s backend was migrated to a cloud-based architecture using Google Cloud Platform (GCP). We implemented Kubernetes clusters to manage and auto-scale the microservices architecture, which enabled the platform to handle millions of concurrent users without downtime. This ensured that the platform remained responsive and efficient during high traffic periods.
To combat step-count manipulation, we developed AI-powered algorithms that analyzed patterns in user activity to detect abnormal behaviors. The auto-scaling feature ensured the platform could support millions of transactions daily without performance degradation.
Our team developed a machine learning model trained to detect fraudulent activity patterns. When a pattern was flagged as suspicious, the algorithm would halt the step-to-Sweatcoin conversion until further verification.
