The Solution

Amplework Software implemented a comprehensive cloud migration and data management solution designed to support Jio Health’s rapid growth, enhance service delivery, and improve security.

We migrated Jio Health’s entire platform to Amazon Web Services (AWS), taking advantage of its scalable infrastructure. The AWS cloud environment provided the necessary flexibility to automatically scale resources based on traffic and user activity. This ensured that the platform could handle increasing volumes of telemedicine consultations and health data without service interruptions or slowdowns.

Cloud Migration to AWS for Scalability and Performance

To support real-time data processing for consultations, prescription management, and health monitoring, we implemented AWS Lambda for serverless computing. This allowed Jio Health to process data events as they occurred, reducing latency and ensuring fast response times. We also integrated Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS) for efficient management of patient records and health data, ensuring high availability and security.

Advanced Real-Time Data Processing with AWS Lambda and RDS

Our team developed RESTful APIs to integrate Jio Health’s platform with third-party healthcare services such as pharmacies, labs, and insurance providers. These APIs facilitated real-time communication between systems, enabling seamless prescription fulfillment, lab test ordering, and insurance claim processing. The API layer was designed for scalability and security, ensuring that data exchange was both reliable and protected.

We implemented end-to-end encryption for all data storage and transmission, ensuring that patient information remained confidential and secure. Role-based access controls (RBAC) were established to restrict access to sensitive data based on user roles, ensuring that only authorized healthcare providers could view or modify patient information. All security protocols were aligned with HIPAA regulations to ensure compliance.

To enhance user experience, we optimized Jio Health’s platform for mobile devices, ensuring that patients and healthcare providers could access services on the go. The mobile app was designed to support high-quality video consultations, real-time messaging, and data entry for healthcare providers. We began by designing a scalable cloud architecture using AWS. The migration involved transferring all existing data, telemedicine features, and patient records to the cloud. AWS’s Elastic Load Balancing (ELB) was used to distribute incoming traffic evenly across servers, ensuring high availability and performance.

Real-Time Data Processing with AWS Lambda

We implemented AWS Lambda to handle real-time data processing for Jio Health’s critical services. Lambda’s event-driven architecture allowed for real-time health monitoring, prescription updates, and live consultations without the need for dedicated servers, reducing infrastructure costs and improving scalability.

API Development and Integration

Our team developed a series of APIs to connect Jio Health with pharmacies, laboratories, and insurance companies. The APIs were designed to handle real-time requests, including prescription orders, lab results, and insurance claims, ensuring seamless communication between Jio Health and its partners.

Security Implementation for HIPAA Compliance

We implemented data encryption both in transit and at rest, ensuring that all sensitive healthcare information was protected. Role-based access controls and multi-factor authentication (MFA) were added to restrict access to sensitive data.
